Diego Sanchez Cadavid Interviewed by Diario Las Américas: Image, Culture, and Creative Vision interviewed by the journalist Erwin Pérez for Diario Las Américas

My name is Diego Sanchez Cadavid, and I had the honor of being interviewed by the journalist Erwin Pérez for Diario Las Américas—one of the most relevant Hispanic media outlets in the United States—to discuss my trajectory as a photographer, creative director, and visual artist based in Miami.

In this conversation, I share what the journey has been like: from my roots in Pamplona, Colombia, to developing campaigns for brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Visa, and American Express, and photographing artists such as Juanes, Tini Stoessel, Ozuna, Maluma, and Becky G.

Beyond the Image: What I Think, What I Believe

During the interview, I discuss how an image is not merely aesthetic but a tool for cultural connection.

For me, photography is a language that can speak to Medellín, Miami, and Tokyo at the same time, without losing authenticity.

I also share my vision on how I combine tools like generative AI, analog 16mm photography, and art direction to create what I call high-level visual experiences.

It is not just about producing content: it is about building identity.
